PESIT, the flagship institution of PES, has been rated #1 in the state and #23 in the country by the prestigious Data Quest- IDC Survey (Data Quest, June 2006). PESIT has earned 26 university ranks. Last year, the institution research grant of over Rs.One Crore. With the birth of PESITM as the second engineering and management sprawling across a picturesque locale situated in the outskirts of Shivamogga. A long felt need of quality education right at the doorstep of the engineering and management education aspirants in the Malnad region is fulfilled. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
