IT Support Specialist

Description

 In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Interact with customers on a regular basis, either on the phone, web, chat, E-mail or in person. As part of the support, ITSS's will diagnose and troubleshoot problems, then either repair/resolve the issue/system themselves, internally escalate, or forward it to an outside vendor. ITSS's are required to thoroughly track, coordinate and document each incident to resolution.

ITSS's a must possess excellent customer service skills as well as demonstrate strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities by drawing out information and solving problems in ways that are both efficient and reassuring to the customer. They must possess a sound foundation in English communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong foundation on computer basics, terminology, and keyboarding skills to be able to effectively work with end users is required. They must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to resolve routine problems in a minimum amount of time as well as performing non-routine tasks as needed.

- Administering accounts, diagnosing and supporting software problems and installation problems.
- Resolving issues related to Information Security and Virus, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint among others.
 

Required Qualifications

 -You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or/and relevant educational qualification.
-Impressive Customer Service skills.
- Full proficiency in both written and verbal English communication skills.
-Technically proficient in Microsoft* Windows* and advanced understanding of Microsoft* Office applications, Virus information and Information Security Administration.
- Flexibility: Willing to work an eight-hour shift, five days a week (within the 7am-7pm timeframe from Monday to Friday), or a ten-hour shift, four days per week (including Saturday or Sunday), within the 7am-7pm timeframe.
