Admission details at Thasiah College of Nursing: Application forms and procedure

ELIGIBILITY:

• Passing of Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (12 years course)   or    Senior School Certificate Examination (10, +2) pre-degree Examination (10, +2) or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
   

• A Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) degree Course.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION:

The candidates must submit applications in the prescribed form to the Correspondent, THASIAH COLLEGE OF NURSING Kanyakumari District within the stipulated time. Photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed with the application.

1. S.S.L.C. exam Certificate / Mark Sheet

2. H.S.C. (+2) / Pre degree / equivalent Examination Certificate /Mark Sheet

3. Transfer Certificate

4. Conduct Certificate

5. Community Certificate

6. Medical fitness Certificate from an authorized medical practitioner.

7. Blood Group & Certificate examinations     have   to    produce Eligibility Certificate from the Tamilnadu     Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

1. A list of eligible candidates will be prepared by the College   selection    committee on   the   basis of   merit and performance in the interview. 

2. Admission    granted   is    provisional and subject to  the   Supreme   Court /     Tamilnadu  Government   /   Indian Nursing   Council  /    Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council / Tamilnadu  Dr. M.G.R. Medical University norms.  

3. The College fees and Hostel fees should be paid at the time of admission.

4. If necessary eligibility certificate should also be produced.
