The college is located on the Pollachi main road near the Seerapalayam village. It is surrounded by farms and coconut groves and is away from the noise and pollution of the city. It is an ideal place for the students to pursue quiet academic works .roads are being developed and trees are being planted in the campus. It is hoped that in a few years, it will emerge as an exclusive centre of academic excellence, on the model of residential institutions.

About Angappa College of Arts & Science:

The Angappa Educational Trust, Coimbatore was founded in the year 1975 by their founder secretary Thiru T.V. Angappan, B.Com., Eminent industrialist and educationalist of Coimbatore. The trust is engaged in selfless service in the social and educational spheres.

Founder comes of an illustrious family of educationists viz T.A.Ramalingam Chettiar and T.S.Avinashilingam Chettiar. He is a simple and easily-accessible philanthropist. He runs an old age home in Mettupalayam for the aged men and women, and an orphanage for young children. He has ambitious plans for the development of the institutions, particularly the Angappa College of Arts & Science.

He believes that the real service to people is only to give the light of education to all. The trust ably managed by him, was born out of this conception and the institutions instill discipline and academic proficiency in the young boys and girls.
