Chennai Medical College Hospital and research centre, Tiruchirapalli

Chennai Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (CMCH&RC) is located on the Trichy - Chennai National Highway 45 which is passing through Irungalur village. This Centre started a multi-specialty 350 bedded teaching hospital in the year 2008.

This medical college was granted permission by the Medical Council of India vide letter F.No.U.12012/495/2007-ME(P-II), Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Department of Health and Family Welfare), New Delhi 14th July, 2009 to admit 150 Medical students per year. This College has full-fledged facilities comprising of faculty members and support services. Faculty members are constantly attending CME Programmes, and one of the staff was an examiner for Ph.D. This institution has various committees headed by Professors of various departments for smooth running of administrative works and academic activities.
