College of Agriculture Rajendranagar, Hyderabad

The College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, and ANGRAU   was established on 20th August, 1946 in the Osmania University campus.   Subsequently, the University was shifted to the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University on 10th July, 1964 and presently working under the umbrella of one of the best University in the country i.e. ANGR Agricultural  University from 14-11-1996.   The College was established to impart the knowledge to the students and farmers of Telangana region in the field of agriculture. 

The  College has completed its 60 years of establishment and organized the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the College during the year 1971,  Golden Jubilee celebrations during the year 1996 and Diamond Jubilee celebrations recently during the year 2006.   The College was started with only one B.Sc.(Ag) degree programme and to meet the manpower needs of the country with changing scenario in the field of agriculture two more degree programmes at UG level namely B.Sc.(Hort.) and B.Sc.(CA&BM)  were subsequently started at this College during the year 1982 and 2003, respectively.
