Government First Grade College Doddaballapura

The Government First Grade College, Doddaballapur finds its pride of place in the history of Karnataka by being one of the oldest institutions in providing higher education. Like the humble beginning of a great tree in a tiny seed, the origin of the college. Started modestly as an Intermediate college, the institution has grown to include undergraduate courses in Arts, science, Commerce and Management.

Presently the college has undergraduate courses for boys and girls in the stream of Arts, Commerce & management and Science affiliated to Bangalore University. Presently 2010 have enrolled for the undergraduate programs. The college students have also contributed to the cultural progress of the society.

The college offers Bachelor degree course. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Doddaballapur Government First Grade College in its various departments. The college is well developed all modern facilities. The College campus is vast, well planned with airy lecture rooms, well furnished laboratories, modern computer laboratory and residential accommodation for the staff.

The college has a vibrant cultural and academic life. Each department sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many academic and cultural associations covering a wide range of activities.
