Government First Grade College Halebidu, Hassan

Government First Grade College, Halebeedu was established in the year 2007 and it is affiliated to the University of Mysore.  The college is situated in an historical place which has its own cultural heritage. Halebeedu was ruled by Rashtrakutas and Dhruva, an important ruler of this dynasty constructed a lake and it was called ‘Dora Samudra’. The sculptures in Hoysaleshwara temple attract many tourists all over the world.

The college got its own building in the year 2011 and it has an area of 11.2 acres. The college got recognition of the UGC under 2F on February 2^nd 2011 and accredited from the NAAC in the year 2016. It serves as an institution rendering a great service in giving education to SC, ST and Backward classes.  The college offers three Under Graduate courses (BA, BBM and B.Com.) and one post graduation course M.Com.
