Government Post Graduate College having fully developed infrastructure facilities, peer friendly, peer friendly environment and well qualified teaching staff, Govt. College Panchkula is keeping pace with modern technology and taking rapid strides in all realms of development. Govt. College Panchkula came into existence in July 1983. Since then the college has been expanding continuously in terms of educational programmes and infrastructure. Over the years the institute has made consistent contribution in the field of academics and co-curricular activities. In addition to Bachelor degree courses in Arts, Science and Commerce the college offers professional degree courses in BBA, BMC and BCA. The college also offers Post graduate degree courses like M.A. English, M.Com and M.A. Hindi (Final).,PGDCA. A wide variety of Add on Courses are also being offered to the students to facilitate them to enhance certain job oriented skills.

Fully equipped with a well stocked Library, English Language Lab, EDUSAT Lab Multimedia Lab, and various Science Laboratories, the institute regularly conducts seminars, workshops and training programmes.

Sports and cultural activities occupy integral place in our curriculum. More recently Annual Parent Teacher Meet and Alumni Association have come out to be a key feature of the institute. Our NCC & NSS units of Boys & girls are consistently involved in social work and community development program. Tutorial group meeting are yet another regular feature of the college to provide counseling to students State sponsored Scholarships under different categories are available for meritorious, deserving and needy students. The college is open to suggestions for starting new courses as per the changing global scenario. NEWLY BUILT BOYS HOSTEL is available with 60 seats. We have 30 rooms with 2 beds in all the rooms.
