Hasanath PU College for Women was established by late Alhaj Adam Hajee Ebrahim Sait saheb and late Alhaj HM Ismail Tabish saheb in the year 1971. They felt the need for promoting women’s education in the Muslim and backward communities. The college has grown from strength to strength under the able leadership of Mr. A. RAZACK ADAM SAIT, President. The vision set by the founders and the President has landed the college in an enviable position.

Hasanath PU College for Women is recognized by Department of Pre University Education, Government of Karnataka and the college is located in Dickenson Road in Bengaluru. The college has a large and spacious campus which also has a large lecture hall.

The college provides excellent facilities to student in order to promote their education and also has got good lab facilities.

The college has a wonderful library called ‘Founder Knowledge Centre’ which has been lauded by PU Department authorities. The college strives for very high academic standards and possesses excellent teachers who are well qualified to impart education. College offers two years pre university courses in Science, Arts and Commerce. Medium of teaching is English.

Science:

• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science
• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology

Arts:

• History, Economics, Sociology and Political Science

Commerce:

• History, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy
• Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy and Computer Science
• Economics, Business Mathematics, Business Studies and Accountancy

English and any one of the following languages: Hindi, Kannada, Urdu, Arabic and Tamil.

Admission Procedure at Hasanath PU College For Women:

• You need to submit the application form to the principal in the prescribed format. You can obtain the application form in the principal's office
• You need to have cleared SSLC/10th to be eligible for admission. Selection is based on marks obtained in these exams
• Provisional list of selected students is put up on the college notice board
• Admissions are provided after satisfactory interview
• You need to produce your intimation card, marks card, conduct certificate and transfer certificate at the time of interview
• You will need to provide migration certificate, income certificate and SC/ST certificate as applicable
• All originals need to be  shown at the time of admission and you will need to provide two sets xerox copies
