Servite College of Nursing, Trichy

Servite College of Nursing,  a Catholic institution of higher education for women, is run by the Congregation of Mother of Sorrows, Servants of Mary.  It is an ancient indigenous Congregation (1854), international in service (working in Australia, Italy, Myanmar and  Philoppines) and Pontifical in status.  Mary at the foot of the Cross, who is the symbol of women’s involvement in liberation, is the patron of the Congregation and so true to its nature it works for the liberation of women and children in many different areas.
