About Seshadripuram Pre-University Evening College:

Seshadripuram Pre-University Evening College has been established under the Seshadripuram Educational Trust which also runs the Seshadripuram Pre-University College (Main). The trust has 24 institutions under its umbrella and is growing from strength to strength. The PU College has received tremendous response from the public. The trust and its management is committed in its endeavour to provide quality educational institutions for providing holistic learning to students and fulfilling student aspirations.  The college is centrally located with good access to other parts of the city and is affiliated to Department of Pre University Education, Government of Karnataka.

Seshadripuram Evening P.U. College came into being in the year 1971 with the aim of providing quality education to young people. The college claims that it is the oldest educational institution in Karnataka and best evening PU college in Bangalore. The campus represents students from various backgrounds and cultures. The college strives to reach excellence in education, provide an atmosphere for complete development and learning of a student.

Admission Procedure:

Eligibility criteria:

• Candidate should have cleared the SSLC exam or any other qualifying exam such as 10th standard of other boards as recognized by the Karnataka PU Board.
• The course is of 2 years period.
• The medium of teaching will be in English. However, you may opt for answering the exam in either Kannada or English which needs to be mentioned in the application form.

Admission process:

• You need to submit the duly filled application to the principal before the specified date
• You may visit this link for information on application form as well as the  cut-off date
• Download the I PU application from the Karnataka PU Board website: http://www.pue.kar.nic.in
• Documents required for application: TC, marks statement, medical examination certificate from previous school
• Photocopy of certificates need to submitted along with application and originals will be asked at the time of admission.
• Students from other universities should submit migration certificate
• If you are selected for admission, pay the prescribed fees, meet the principal along with the originals of the documents as listed above.
• The language you opt for should be the same as what you have studied in your school
• Keep 4 photos ready and 3 self-addressed 5 Rs. envelopes
• All admission are subject to rules of PU board and are provisional in nature

College Timings:

• Office timings: 3-9 PM
• Class timings: 5-9 PM
• There will be 4 classes: 5-6, 6-7, 7-8 and 8-9 PM respectively
• Computer science practical: 3-5 PM
