Brief Description of Shaikh College Of Engineering & Technology, Belgaum
SCET is ideally located in Belgaum, which is the cultural, commercial, industrial and educational capital of Northern Karnataka. Belgaum is surrounded by important cities and town like Kolhapur, on the north, Bijapur on the east, Dharwad and Hubli on the south and Goa on the west. Belgaum is overnight journey from Mumbai - Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad and is well connected with the rest of the country by rail, road and air. An Institute on the campus which is on the out skirts of the city which provides an ambience condusive for learning with state-of-the art infrastructure and facilities. The campus is at Bhootramatti adjoining the PG center of Karnataka University Dharwad. This programme is designed to impart peerless quality of teaching and training.

Laboratories:
Shaikh College of Engineering & Technology has modern labs and workshop with highly sophisticated equipments to impart practical knowledge to the budding engineers. SCET can boast of state-of-the-art facilities.
Computer Lab:
A fully equipped computer lab with latest multimedia Pentium Processor based systems caters to the growing needs of our students. The huge lab has a facility where each student can have hands-on experience in practical applications that enhances the knowledge in the theory classes.
The labs are networked using LAN with internet connectivity and has an internet leased line at data rate of 512 Kbps and is open to the students and faculty 24x7 .
Library:
The institute's library is fully computerized with a rich collection of books and periodicals, catering to the needs of the students and faculty members. It subscribes to a good number of national and international journals, periodicals, news papers and other study materials in order to help our students to be updated about global developments.
