The Smt Nagarathnamma and Sri Narappa Governmnet First Grade College Gudibande is situated with limited students of the remote rural area in midst of mountains of Chikkaballapur Dist., Northern area to impact minimum higher education for the rural poor students of the area.
This college started by 1996 having the strength of 170 students as on today with B.A. and B.Com faculty for the option of course to the students. The area is being far from district headquarter and fourteen kilometers away from NH 7 highway via Perisandra village catering the needs of adjacent backward villages of the area the name of the college has been changed to Smt Nagarathnamma and Sri Narappa Governmnet First Grade College being the land donated by them on charity.
