William Bradley Pitt ( Shawnee, December 18 of 1963 ), known as Brad Pitt, is an actor and film producer in USA.
In addition to his acting work, which has been nominated twice for Academy Awards and four to the Golden Globes, his significant media presence is also due to its consideration as one of the sexiest men in the world.
Pitt began his acting career by appearing as a guest on programs for television, among which include a role in the novel of CBS Dallas in 1987. Later, he earned recognition from the press with the interpretation of the cowboy hitchhiker who seduces the character of Geena Davis in the 1991 film Thelma & Louise. The former Pitt starring roles in productions of high budget was A River Runs Through It (1992) and Interview with the Vampire (1994). He also participated along with Anthony Hopkins in the 1994 drama Legends of the Fall, a role that earned him his first nomination for Golden Globe awards. In 1995 he received critical acclaim for his performances in the film thriller Se7en and in the science fiction Twelve Monkeys, the latter which won him a Golden Globe in the category of "best actor" and an Oscar nomination. Four years later, in 1999, he starred in the cult hit Fight Club, and soon starred in the hit film Ocean's Eleven (2001) in the role of Rusty Ryan and the same in its sequels, Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007). Its greatest commercial successes have been at Troy (2004) and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005). Pitt received his second nomination for an Academy Award for his starring role in the 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
After a relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston for five years. However, later he began to live with Angelina Jolie, this being a relationship that has been widely popular. They have six children: Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. Since beginning his relationship with Jolie, has been involved in many social ventures in the United States and internationally. Pitt owns a production company called Plan B Entertainment, whose credits include the winner of the Oscar for "Best Picture", The Departed (2007).
