Floods in China in 2010 began in early May 2010. 701 people died and 347 have disappeared, according to the balance sheet of July 21, 2010 , including 57 in a landslide Guizhou. Of the deaths, 53 occurred due to flooding and landslides between May 31 and June 3 , and 266 between 13 and 29 June . 424 people were killed in late June , including 42 by a landslide in Guizhou; over 227 people were killed and 147 missing in the first two weeks in July , , , bringing the total to 1.072. Over 140 million persons in 28 provinces, municipalities and regions , whose central and southern provinces Zhejiang , Fujian , Jiangxi , Hubei , Hunan , Guangdong , Guangxi , the municipality of Chongqing , the Sichuan and Guizhou were affected, and at least 4.66 million people have been evacuated because of the risks of flooding and landslides in the latter half of June
