Job Description: This is a position in Corporate Strategic Procurement (CSP). The group has enterprise wide responsibility for sourcing indirect goods and services including, laptops, servers, switches, discs, software, health benefits, temporary workforce, technical consulting, relocation services, marketing and advertising services and global travel services. We are seeking Commodity Managers to support Employee Services, Sales and Marketing and Information Technology in Greater Asia Region. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implement regional sourcing strategies, supplier selection, supplier management, contract negotiation and stakeholder influencing.
Skills required
You should be an Undergraduate degree with a minimum of eight years relevant work experience, an M.B.A. is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Mature influencing skills, with demonstrated success in working at executive level both internally to Intel and externally
- Ability to make solid strategic decisions quickly in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable in presenting at supplier business reviews and with stakeholders
- Fluent in Chinese and English languages
- Prior experience in negotiation and management of multimillion dollar contracts
- A proven track record in Global / Regional Commodity Management, accompanied by strong skills in communications, influencing, stakeholder management and contract negotiations
