'The focus of the engineer?s task is issue analysis and resolution in the area of the 2.5G and 3G real time system in customer products. The tasks include * Analysis and resolution of issues with software products with focus to the overall system especially drivers in customer handsets and platforms. * Responses and/or solutions to customer issues in a timely manner * Participation in customer visits, as required, for issue resolution and/or project reviews * Provision of technical support to customers also on-site * Actively approaching the customers to identify how core phone software can be used for new products or applications, identify the necessary extensions/enhancements that might be needed and work with customer to ensure smooth integration This task requires integration skills and social competence to work in an international team with the advantage being supported by such a team.'
