Job Description Component Verification (CV): Our main task is to verify that the IC is working according to the specification. We are preparing test cases to cover all requirements the IC has to fulfill and test the IC then in all corner cases. To run these test cases most effective we are building up a test automation controlling several equipment as oscilloscopes, debugger, power supplies, multi-meter, climatic chambers, ? We are consolidating the test results and in case run failure analysis as well. Our main focus is testing of Power Management Unit, Audio (digital & analog) and FMR.

Skills required

General: Studies in electronics /communication techniques (at least 4 semesters, preferred 6+) Self motivated Team player but being able to work independently Willingness to acquire as much knowledge as possible during the internship Strong communication skills English or German Technical: Basic handling of measurement instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, signal generator, multi-meter) Fair programming skills (C/C++, Matlab or Labview, scripting languages) Basic knowledge in analog/digital design required Microcontroller knowledge is an advantage Proven interest for electronics i.e. small electronic projects undertaken is a clear advantage (not necessarily as part of the mandatory studies, but rather a hobby) Good knowledge of MS Office (ppt, Excel, Word, Outlook)
