The product development engineers in this team work with Intel Design and Development teams worldwide to develop functional and structural test content for PCH products. The PGermany is responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of PCH products from the component feasibility stage through to production ramp. Following are examples of activities in which PCH Product Development Engineers may make significant contributions: DFT Design (Design for Test) Development, Evaluation and validation of DFT circuits. Development and debug of test patterns for Cache, IO, Functional and Scan to support component debug, validation, characterization and production test. Development and debug of complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. (eg: vcf, PRISM, etc) High Speed PCB and board design providing validation and production test hardware solutions. Silicon debug and characterization of new PCH products including working with platform and system level validation teams to identify and close silicon issues. Analysis and disposition of early customer returns to drive test hole closure activities. Test program development to provide stable platform for product debug and characterization and also to support high volume production ramp.
