Job Description
In this position, you will be supporting new product development teams to meet their time, scope, budget, and quality objectives. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Planning, scheduling, risk management, requirements management and resource management methods, systems and processes
- Deploying the above-mentioned methods, tools and processes and training the program and design managers and their teams on the effective usage
- Providing project management support to program managers, staffs and teams
- Generating indicators, conducting analyses, presenting and proposing alternative solutions to specific issues as they arise during project planning and execution
Skills required
You should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field. A Master's of Science degree in EE, CS, IE or a related field is preferred.
Additional minimum qualifications include:
- 2 years of program management experience.
- 2 years of solid computer skills including expertise in Microsoft* Project* and Microsoft* Excel*
- 2 years of expertise in developing and implementing processes, systems and tools that improve Intel's project management effectiveness and efficiency
- 2 years proven experience in building and managing effective customer relationships
- 2 years of experience driving formal risk management in a product development environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Formal project management training, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with product development, microprocessor development knowledge would be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and to drive tasks and projects to successful completion
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- High tolerance of ambiguity
- Proven success influencing without authority
