Job Description
The CSPD Program Office within the PC Client Group is looking for a senior technical program manager. The candidate will plan and manage projects related to platform BIOS, responsiveness including Fast Flash Standby.
As a program manager, you will provide leadership to the program teams and manage the program execution from definition through customer launch, serving also as the key interface for the overall program. The responsibilities include setting direction, making key program decision, managing delivery of key milestones, creating/tracking the program schedule, identifying tasks, determining dependencies, communicating expectations to team members, identifying and resolving risks/issues and clearly reporting indicators and status of the program also to senior technical leaders and upper level management. As the program technical manager you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with other internal teams as well as key customers on the program deliverables/schedule.
Software is a critical piece of Intel PC Client platforms and requires close interaction with the overall component and platform development process to ensure Intel maintains high quality, on schedule product releases year after year. Strong communication skills both verbal and written, experience leading in a technical matrix environment and proven track record are required.
Skills required
Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other similar technical degree, and 3+ years experience in project leadership/management & Software.
A successful candidate will have:
Strong project/program management skills,
people management skills in a matrix environment, as well as
experience managing cross functional teams;
in-depth knowledge and experience in SW / Product development and delivery,
understanding of the PLC process,
ability to influence various organizations, and the
ability to manage complex issue resolution.
