About Don Bosco School, Lalpahar Chouldari

A school was inaugurated by Salesians in Lalpahar area of South Andaman. Don Bosco School, Lalpahar, Chouldari was started in September 2012 and it had just 4 kindergarten students back then. Don Bosco School was given the official status by the administration of Andaman & Nicobar Islands on April 1, 2014.  Subsequently, class 6 onwards was started in April 2016 when the school was upgraded to a middle school. Class 7 and class 8 were started in the subsequent years which is 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Even though the school is in its initial years, it has already received rousing response from the parents, neighbourhood, government officials and well wishers. The rapid growth achieved in short time as well as very high quality of education imparted is the proof for this. The school has set the agenda of scaling further heights and grow from strength to strength in the coming years. The Salesians have dedicated themselves to high standard of education and they have presence in 135 countries and the institution is expected to live up to those standards.

Hostel facility is not offered in Don Bosco School, South Andaman as this is a day school.
