Nachimuthu Polytechnic College was established in the year 1957, by Artuchelvar Dr.N.Mahalingam in memory of his beloved father, Thiru.P.Nachimuthu Gounder. Thiru.P.Nachimuthu Gounder was a embodiment of hard work, Sincerity, truthfulness and perseverance. He established the Anamalais Bus Transport Company, a pioneer in road transport industry in Tamilnadu.
