Rajas Dental College and Hospital, Tirunelveli

The Rajas Dental College was established in 1987. It is affiliated to the Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognized by the Dental Council of India. New Delhi. The college offers undergraduate and post graduate degree Programmes in dental medicine and surgery. Class room based teaching facilities of the college are located in the vast Rajas Institutes in Vadakkangulam, Tamilnadu. Clinical training is provided in RDC and the Rajas Mission Hospital in Kavalkinaru Junction. The hospital is one of the largest in the state and it has dental facilities with more than 300 dental chairs, an ultra-modern Dental Radiography centre and fully equipped clinics for Oral diagnosis, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthetic dentistry, operative and re-constructive dentistry and Oral Surgery. The hospital is strategically located on the National Highway 7 connecting Nagercoil and Tirunelveli and a branching road to Kanyakumari. As a result, the hospital is able to serve patients from Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts of Tamilnadu.
